Trans: I thought I had a God-given talent. It was in my primary school days that this first became evident. Baba Oyin Adejobi was our leader and taught us acting at the Ansarudeen mission school. The school invited him every year to train a selected few. Those pupils, in turn, acted in plays they presented to the congregation. And the proceeds from those plays went towards remunerating clerics that taught us Arabic.
